Due to consistently low car counts in the Casey’s General Store Sport Compact division, Promoter Mike Conkwright has decided to run a limited amount of events for the remainder of the 2014 race season.

Conkwright say’s “We have put forth the effort to keep a class alive, with the hopes the class would grow this season. Unfortunately, we seem to have less this season, instead of more. We will limit the schedule for the remainder of the season and re-evaluate the class for 2015 season. I want to thank and apologize to the drivers in this division that have remained loyal to the facility. I am happy they will have alternative tracks in the area to run.”

The division will be removed from the remainder of the schedule, but will remain on the schedule for July 19th, August 9th and 30th, and for Championship Night on September 13th. The division will not be scheduled for Thunder on the Hill.

Drivers need to remember they must be checked in to race at 6:30 p.m. at the Speedway.  If drivers has not checked in, or contacted officials that they will be a late check-in, they will not be allowed to race. There are no exceptions to this policy.

Join us Saturday night, July 12th for “Ladies Night” at the Speedway. All ladies will be admitted FREE in the grandstands. We will feature our Bad Boyz Bail Bonds IMCA Hobby Stocks, Belleville Motor Sports IMCA N. SportMods, Heinen Repair Service IMCA Stock Cars and our BSB Manufacturing IMCA Modifieds.
